Collegiate Chapter — Mu Omega
Eta Iota Sigma is honored to serve as the alumnae advisory chapter to the Mu Omega Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., located at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. Through consistent mentorship, guidance, and support, we assist our collegiate Sorors in growing in excellence as they uphold the Sorority’s principles of scholarship, sisterhood, and service while leading on their campus.
About Mu Omega

The Mu Omega Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. was chartered at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, on April 12, 1992.
Nine young women were inducted on April 12, 1992, and upon the successful completion of the Sorority’s educational process, Mu Omega was formally established through a Pinning and Chartering Ceremony conducted by Northeastern Regional Syntaktes Soror Shirley Smith, who was assisted by Undergraduate Chapter Coordinator Soror Paulette Davis and Eta Iota Sigma Basileus, Soror Dr. Mynora Bryant.
Welcomed by Graduate Advisor Soror Roshanda Clay, the following Sorors comprise the charter line of Mu Omega:

Today, the Mu Omega Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. continues its work at George Mason University, building upon the foundation established by its charter line through ongoing engagement in leadership, service, and campus life.
The chapter is proudly supported by Eta Iota Sigma, which serves as its alumnae advisory chapter, providing mentorship, guidance, and operational support to ensure the continued growth and success of the chapter both on campus and beyond.
